Description
This captivating sculpture is distinguished by its bold, angular form, evoking a fantastical creature with clean lines. Crafted from dark metal, the work projects a slender silhouette, accentuated by long, upward-pointing horns that add an impressive vertical dynamic. The interplay of light and shadow on the faceted surfaces creates a dramatic effect, highlighting the piece's sharp contours. Minimalist details, such as the opening for the "face," lend the sculpture a mysterious and intriguing expression. The artist successfully merges abstraction and figuration, inviting the viewer to freely interpret the work while admiring their technical mastery. This iconic piece strikes a perfect balance between modernity and imagination, making it a remarkable example of contemporary artistic innovation.
Presentation
FROM CHAOS TO THE LIVING BEING
When I paint or draw, I start from chaos, I begin to paint spontaneously simple elements, forms, lines, surfaces arranged without preconceived ideas on the canvas. These elements intertwine, associate and give birth to complex forms. I reveal then by drawing on this bottom: figures, members, bodies, objects.
This creates diversified characters, which come from the chaos and inscribe their reality. It is a spontaneous, physical and spiritual act.
