Description
This captivating Corten steel sculpture stands with elegance. The work's curving, ascending lines evoke a fluid, organic movement, reminiscent of flames or growing plants. The patinated surface of the Corten steel has a warm, rustic hue. The material's natural oxidation adds a temporal dimension, symbolizing the passage of time. This piece embodies the balance between strength and subtlety, while asserting its bold presence. Its modern design, combined with the use of Corten steel, demonstrates a successful fusion of the natural and the architectural.
Presentation
Antoine Leclercq strives to ensure that his works fit into the landscape, without imposing themselves. Abstractions, clean and simple lines, his sculptures are part of a modernist lineage of contemporary monumental sculpture in corten steel.
His experience as a landscape architect (Agronomic Faculty of Gembloux Belgium - 2010) allows Antoine Leclercq to present sculptures which can be sized in the appropriate format for their environment.
