Presentation

Jean-Marc Bodin was born in 1965.

He is one of the very rare animal artists who himself carries out all the stages in the creation of his bronze sculptures: creation of molds, castings, chasing, patina.

Jean-Marc has a brilliant career.

- from 1984 to 1989: student at Decorative Arts in Strasbourg in the sculpture workshop under the direction of Patrick Lang and Francois Cacheux

- 1987: Laureate of the bust prize of the Paul Louis Weiler Institute

- 1989: diploma in sculpture

- from 1989 to 1990: group exhibitions in Strasbourg and Alsace

- 1992: bronze medal at the Salon des Artistes Français

- 1993: guest at the Salon d'Angers

Young Sculpture Prize at the Saint Denis Basilica Salon

Winner of the Art Dialogue Prize at the Salon de Mantes la Jolie

Laureate of the Frédéric de Carfort Prize from the Fondation de France

- 1994: Silver medal and Arthur Leduc Prize at the Salon des Artistes Français

Group exhibition at the Peinture Fraiche gallery

Creation of a tribute to Saint-Exupéry for the ENSICA Aeraunautique School (in Toulouse)

In 1990 and a tribute to Clément Ader in March 1994

- 1995: Young Sculpture Prize at the Salon de Mantes la Jolie

- since 2000: exhibits in Galeries Dumonteil (Paris, New-York, Shanghai) and Giraud

- since 2013: exhibited at the Escarpolette Gallery in Port Navalo

- since 2016 exhibits at the Animal Art Gallery Paris in Paris

In 2015, Jean-Marc was selected by the Committee of the Salon Animal Art Paris, the International Salon of Animal, Hunting and Nature Artists (Hippodrome d'Auteuil) where he now exhibits every year, and since 2016 he exhibits at Animal Art Brussels in Belgium at the Cercle Gaulois.

In 2015 in Paris and in 2017 in Brussels, the Jury awarded him the Gold Medal in the sculpture category.
