Biography
José Manuel Chamorro Chamorro. He receives training in Madrid with the artists: Manuel Gutiérrez Navas-Concha Mª Gutiérrez Navas, Lorenzo Frechilla, Antonio Manso, Eloísa Gil Peña, Enrique González. Madrid School of Arts and Crafts. Accademia di Belli Arti Pietro Vannucci, Perugia, Italy. Madrid Fine Arts Circle. He has been a draftsman for the Postal Philately Section and taught.
Human fullness is manifested in the total face, the inhuman in the broken facial expression. Thus, the set of works "Faces without a face" arises from the consciousness of the suffering, frustrated or annihilated Human Reality: a pathetic symbol of that "not being" developed in shapes, colors and textures. - José Manuel Chamorro Chamorro
