Artwork location: France
This abstract artwork fuses simple geometric shapes with a bold color palette to create a visually striking and balanced composition. The circles of varying sizes are arranged to interact harmoniously with the rectangles and squares that surround them. The textured background of gold hues provides depth and richness to the piece, contrasting with the sharpness of the geometric shapes painted in flat tints. On the left, a bright yellow square partially frames a white circle, creating a striking contrast. On the top right, a large sky blue circle echoes a navy blue rectangle, a juxtaposition of colors and shapes that immediately captures the eye. The lower portion of the artwork is dominated by a large white circle that appears to overlap a corner of the gold background, giving a sense of movement and layering. Next to it, a smaller navy blue circle adds an extra dimension to the composition. The bold use of primary colors—yellow, blue—in combination with natural and metallic tones, emphasizes the dynamic yet refined character of this work. The shapes are arranged to create visual harmony while maintaining a certain tension between the elements, which maintains the interest of the observer. This ingenious arrangement of shapes and colors demonstrates a mastery of fundamental artistic principles while offering a unique and contemporary interpretation of abstract art. This painting is both an homage to the pioneers of geometric abstraction and a strong modern statement.

Thomas Danel is a French artist, sculptor. It was her mother Françoise Danel, an artist herself, who taught her all her techniques. He was inspired by his mother's work to end up finding an invoice in his own work. He chose to develop in sculpture. These by their technical quality seem to be made digitally while they are all made by hand. His sculptures are in hollow wood. They are design and bring out the purity of the forms. By their simplicity, they take us into an atmosphere of relaxation, zenitude, relaxing calm.
