Humberto da Mata is a contemporary designer with a degree in architecture based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Humberto da Mata's practice revolves around experimentation and design research. He continuously investigates different materials and techniques with the help of local artisans to create playful and unique collectibles.

His latest collection, "Orgus VI", builds on his ceramic work of the past three years to experiment with new shapes, textures and material combinations.

The result is dynamic, tactile and colourful works made of paper pulp that showcase the designer's hand through their organic forms.
