Description
“Mood of the Wind" is a title I conceived as a call for freedom and change.
The woman in the painting embodies unstoppable emotion — her hair transforms into delicate branches, as if caught by a sudden gust of wind.
It's a metaphor for inner experiences, thoughts, and feelings woven into a chaotic dance.
The background is rendered in soft, muted tones that contrast with the dynamic lines.
In this work, I aimed to capture the mood of a fleeting moment — where outer calm meets inner motion, and the wind becomes a symbol of life, transformation, and the endless flow of inspiration.

Presentation
Helen Spoon, a painter with a background in open studio practice, works primarily with oil and acrylic, believing in art's accessibility and sincerity. She masterfully blends symbolism, surrealism, expressionism, and impressionism, using technique and medium to match each mood—acrylic for spontaneity, oil for emotional depth. Her artworks evoke profound emotions, offering viewers a space where vulnerability and inner resonance can be sincerely experienced.
