Naive Kunst

Die Naive Kunst umfasst meist autodidaktische Künstler, die eine freie Ausdrucksform entwickeln, losgelöst von jeder strengen akademischen Ausbildung und den klassischen Regeln der Perspektive. Als Erbin einer spontanen und persönlichen Sicht auf die Kunst zeichnet sie sich durch vereinfachte Kompositionen, kräftige und leuchtende Farben sowie eine visuelle Erzählweise aus, die sowohl Alltagsszenen als auch intime oder märchenhafte Vorstellungen einbezieht.

Weit davon entfernt, eine Unbeholfenheit zu sein, bildet diese scheinbare Einfachheit im Gegenteil das Herzstück ihrer Sprache: jedes Detail, jede farbliche oder räumliche Entscheidung spiegelt eine einzigartige Art wider, die Welt wahrzunehmen und darzustellen. Verbunden mit Schlüsselfiguren wie Henri Rousseau, dessen dichte und traumhafte Kompositionen den Weg zur institutionellen Anerkennung dieser Kunst bereitet haben, hat sich die Bewegung allmählich weltweit ausgedehnt, vom Douanier bis zu Séraphine Louis sowie Künstlern aus Haiti, dem ehemaligen Jugoslawien oder Afrika.
