Piero Lo Presti

Creative and visionary of art, Piero Lo Presti lives and works in Milan where he learned, from an early age, the most varied techniques of "making art".

His training was not as academic as practical, especially by living and working closely with high-level artists.

The first collaborative experience that deeply enriched him was in the period in which he worked with Dario Fo, when he was able to draw on the immense knowledge of the actor, learning the use of the most diverse materials useful in the scenographic field and experimenting with original techniques.

The artistic journey of Lo Presti will also pass for the Teatro alla Scala, where he will work for six years, living and breathing the magic of the theater and deepening his knowledge on the set design and reinvention of environments.

Today Piero devotes himself above all to painting, making use of both the color and the material of which he is a recognized expert, so much so as to be called, by fellow artists, "the material alchemist".

His works represent the energy moving in space, between heaven and earth, and between the inside and the outside of ourselves, since everything is connected: his paintings remind us that "everything is one".
