Michèle Morgan

Born in: 1920

France

Born in 1920 in Neuilly sur Seine and known to have "one of the most beautiful eyes in the cinema industry", the actress from "Port of Shadows" is known to be a painter, with intense creation. At the twilight of her life, the actress opened her own artist gallery, in her homeland. "If I wasn't an actor, I would have devoted my whole life to painting", says the artist. Between different shootings, Michele Morgan created remarkable works. Her creativity reached its apex with "ties of Michele Morgan". Accessories in silk and unique ornaments, her various creations of dark ties those days. Today, the collectors are looking for an unusual product, known to be a true masterpiece. Michele Morgan composed her memoir in 1977: With these eyes, pertaining to the legendary dialogue of Jean Gabin "You have beautiful eyes, you know". The poetic realism of "Port of Shadows" (written by Jacques Prévert) has an influence on her poetic look, through her flowery paintings. A colorful bouquet of flowers and light. The actress played for major key figures of the film industry such as Michael Curtiz (Passage to Marseille, 1944), Claude Lelouch (Le Chat et la Souris, 1975), René Clair (Les Grandes Manœuvres, 1955), Michel Deville (Benjamin ou les mémoires d’un puceau, 1967).
