Anne de Harlez

Born in: 1955 Spain

Anne de Harlez

Biography
Anne de Harlez is a Belgian artist born in 1955, currently living in Spain.
After studying interior design, a career she exercised during fifteen years, Anne de Harlez finally decided to dedicate to sculpture at the beginning of the 2000s and got trained at the Academy of Fine Arts of Ixelles.

Her artistic career led her to the naturalistic and penetrating atmosphere of Ibiza, in 2006. Since then, all the whites and the natural pigments of the red soil of the island are a main part of her work, giving it a particular color temperature. The artist uses the natural resources of Ibiza, and is constantly exploring its environment.
