Artistes Sud-coréens

L'art contemporain coréen est resté longtemps dans l'ombre des géants chinois et japonais qui semblaient occuper toute la scène artistique internationale. L'art contemporain coréen s'est d'abord fait connaitre grâce à ses artistes expatriés aux Etats-Unis et continue de s'épanouir sans plus avoir à rougir face au reste du monde.

Pour cette année 2016, Art Paris Art Fair invite la Corée, dernier volet d'une exploration des scènes asiatiques. Confiée à la commissaire d'expositions Sang-A Chun, cette invitation souligne la richesse de la scène artistique du « pays du matin calme », depuis les années 1960 jusqu'à l'effervescence artistique actuelle.
