In the Shadow of the Red Earth, 2023

Kateryniuk Oleg

Oleg Kateryniuk, born in 1969 in Ukraine, has built a successful career as a graphic designer. However, over the years, life leads us to become more attuned to people, nature, the environment, and everything surrounding us. Sometimes, something happens—a moment, an observation, an emotion—that stays with you, filling you with its truth, feelings, and philosophy. It doesn’t burden you; instead, it lingers, occasionally speaking to you, telling your story, stirring your soul, and compelling you to seek something new, something unnoticed yet deeply necessary—not just for you, but for others as well.

In such moments, you find yourself reaching for a pencil, brushes, or whatever is at hand. Alone with your canvas or paper, you draw—pouring out your thoughts, emotions, and reflections into your art.
