Description
The eye of his self love and moral conscience were his constant but sorrowful driver. A splash of blood, the infinite but deceitful self representation of himself on the Arcole bridge... The romantic heroes always end in a Waterloo debacle surrounded by tourist shops. Self contemplation keeps you local.
Presentation
A Parisian product mixed with Brussels freshness, I work on collages in which I try to show the beauty and harshness of our world, to bear witness to the suffering and joy that we can experience in our fragile but magnificent universe.
I am particularly touched by our collective experience of being the sons of a civilization that has ended up endangering life on earth. This dramatic experience finally prevents us from fleeing the questions that comfort and consumption allowed us to dodge.
Finally, the blind and heavy waters withdraw, carry us away, open up to give us back life.
