Gottfried Salzmann is a visual artist of Austrian origins who combines painting, photography and collage. In his studio in Paris, he developed an artistic world where watercolor brings elegance and fluidity to his work.
Knowing no limits, neither aesthetic nor technological, his vision of photography is to represent emotions with great aesthetic intelligence.
Currently focusing on cityscapes particularly in NY, Gottfried Salzmann redefines space and gives rise to vertical perspectives which dominate his work.
He transforms blank paper into an expressive support as important as color and becomes a stabilizing element of the compositions. Water and colors splashes are at the same time delicacy and aggressiveness disturbing the balance of his works.
