From Versailles to Reims

Reims From September 8, 2026 to October 3, 2026

Presentation

Following the success of the first edition of the Cactus Art Festival organized from July 27 to August 2, 2026, at Le Carré à la Farine in Versailles, the Galerie Feng Shang, located at 6 allée des Pervenches in Reims, will host the collective exhibition "From Versailles to Reims" from September 3 to October 3, 2026. This event brings together the "Independent Artists and Invited Artists" section of the festival, thus offering a remarkable extension of this event which has become an open platform mixing contemporary art exhibition, artistic education, and public participation.

Thought as a bridge between two exceptional cities – Versailles, symbol of French cultural influence, and Reims, city of the Sacres with unique historical heritage – this artistic journey honors 25 artists with diverse origins and backgrounds.

A conversation between the East and the West.

A plural artistic scene rooted in territories.

The exhibition brings together artists from the Grand Est region, Hauts-de-France, and the city of Paris, offering a rich and diverse panorama of contemporary French creation. Among them:

Cécile Girard, Yichao Sun, Alexandre Juszkewycz, Anne Lauryl Merle, Anne-Valérie Duchateau, Axel Maugest, Atelier Jeanne Jrdieasa, Bernard Bourges, Brigitte de Cesco, César Deslandes, Christelle Didier Curry, GIKA, Martial Mandin, Claude Carretta, Pascal Canot, Elena Feteanu, Pascal Douffet, Florence Denuet, Pascal Roger, Sophie Espinasse, Sylvie Hermant, François x Letournelle, Vanessa Cardinale, Véronique Fouquet, Wlady.

A dialogue between mediums, styles, and generations

Designed as a space without aesthetic borders, the exhibition weaves a subtle dialogue between painting, sculpture, and textile creation. It confronts academic and self-taught approaches, figurative and abstract universes, traditional materials and contemporary experiments. Each work reveals the uniqueness of its author while participating in a collective conversation where cultural heritage and personal expression mingle.
