Kevin Lujan

My work has a figurative and academic character, with a tendency towards realism. Mixed with symbols and hybrid approaches in the fashion of collage. I use this approach to emphasize and refer to other artists, their works, and themes that I consider influential. 

In most cases, I represent the human figure, searching for expression through the bare flesh, the nude, employing stains, plastic excesses, expressive and free traces, particularly in the case of drawings. 

Little by little, leaving behind established canons, I to try to approach my own figurative expressionism.
