At 18's he started his career as a teacher, Darkroom printer and photographer.

He won the 1998 NiKON award and others followed, such as the Juan Rulfo Photography Award, Union Latine in 2006. 


He participated in several group exhibitions and held important individual exhibitions, of which the following stand out: Unheimlich (2013); Metrópoles-Paris at the National Museum of Fine Arts / RJ (2009) and Soledades at Galerie Renoir / Paris - France (2006). 


Thiago has a Master in Visual Arts from UERJ. He dedicates himself to his personal work, he also teaches at the School of Visual Arts of Parque Lage.

His works incorporate the collections of the Maison Européene de la Photographie, Gilberto Chateubriand, Joaquim Paiva, Stock and Calmon, and the National Museum of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil.
