Biography
Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, he moved to Sweden in 1980, where he studied drawing, painting, art history and photography.
He focuses his work on documentary photography, both urban and natural settings, paying special attention to the details that characterize the landscapes of Bolivia, the country where he resides since 1994.
His works also explore the inner human being, often from a very personal view.
He hopes to register unique and ephemeral moments, and the feelings that stream out of the characters he portrays.
His photographs awaken in the viewer emotions and sensations charged with melancholy and dramatic qualities.
His preferred medium is black-and-white photography.
