Biography
Huang Yan is particularly known for his series of landscape on body works which are classical paintings directly painted on the body or face of the artist.
His work has been noticed by some greats artists, such as Feng Boyi or Ai Weiwei, who decided to present some of Huang Yan's works at the "Fuck Off" exhibition which took place in Shanghai in 2000.
