Yang Youpeng

Yang Youpeng is a Chinese artist born in 1975 who lives and works in Guiyang, China. He is a painter by profession but also an inveterate collector. His artistic creation is guided by freedom. He draws inspiration from the Chen method while developing his own style and forms. He seeks to internationalize his art in a way to democratize it. He supports artistic exchange between cultures. Youpeng has participated at many exhibitions in China and elsewhere. In 2009, his series produced with ink and with composite materials were rewarded. He also won the Seventeenth International Chinese Art World Congress in Hong Kong and his series of composite materials received an award at the Third International Painting and Calligraphy Festival in Hawaii.
