Biography
Alain-Polo develops an aesthetic practice combining sensuality and desire of the male body. Since his first series in 2008, he embodies himself in a work where his body remains the main place of expression.
From the very beginning, Alain-Polo established himself as an unconventional artist, committed to a quest for emancipation and recognition of the diversity of our world's identities. Very early on, photography appeared to him as the best way to account for his own introspection. Far from making his body the object of desire, he reveals himself to us to question on the ways of seeing and of considering the other
