Elisabeth Gore is a French painter, born in 1963, she currently lives in Picardie. She studied painting at the Fine arts school.
Her artistic universe is deeply nourished by her inner world: the artist paints her doubts and hopes. By scratching the material "I address themes which I'm obsessed with: life, death, worn out through time, disappearance, obstacles and resilience" explains the artist. Her painting has also put down roots in the Opal Coast environment, her homeland. Accumulation of acrylic layers remind us of the Northern colors " a poetic and complex universe, which we perceive as immobile, underpopulated before the traces of humans and vegetables come along and woke it up, like a hope for a new life, right out of the cosmos" says Catherine Rigollet in Agroa des arts.
Elisabeth Gore has exhibited around fifteen times in collective exhibitions but has also done some personal exhibitions in galleries.
