Marie-Noëlle Lapouge

France • 1956

Biography

Since early childhood, she knew she would pursue an artistic profession. From the age of 12, she learned the basics of painting and drawing every Thursday from a painter in Clermont, while being enrolled in correspondence courses.

Finally, at 16, she entered the Beaux-Arts in Clermont-Ferrand for five years of training (pottery section).

She immediately moved to the village of Rocles in Lozère. In 2000, she founded an advertising workshop in the neighboring town of Langogne, which she sold in 2007, as computer work took up too much space on that of artistic creation.

It is in her painting studio in Rocles that she returns more assiduously to her brushes while animating workshops.

From this workshop, she directs her publishing house "Marie-Noëlle's workshop", her creations in enamelled lava: orientation tables, kitchen splashbacks, decorations, etc.

Since May 2022, opening of his painting gallery in the village of La Garde Guerin in Lozère.

Present at the Olympe et Salomé gallery in Villerest near Roanne (42).
