After 15 years of faithfulness to dry pastel, I gradually integrated other materials to abandon it and reuse it secretly, letting the paper express itself in competition with markers, oil pastels... Not of representation, I let the creases, the tears, the color and the forms, the transparency bring an image which is not one, or which will take shape in the glance of the other. The collage is only the final stage of the process of destruction and recomposition, coming to life in the fullness of a rhythm that is no longer in rupture.

This artistic adventure is at the origin of everything, it is a committed work sometimes, invested in joint projects ("The 140 years of the Commune of Paris" with the artists of the Ateliers de Ménilmontant; or personal (on an experience in Algeria and later, collective on "The fiftieth anniversary of the independence of Algeria"). It is a journey that nourished my reflection on the role of color, on the sensory and the emotional. Exhibiting is not insignificant, the confrontation with the other, as much as with oneself, is a constant battle, the artist is constantly on the razor's edge.
