Description
This abstract artwork is a vibrant explosion of color and form. Dominated by shades of deep blue, it evokes a sense of mystery and enigma. To the right, a dynamic arrangement of squares and rectangular shapes in warm tones—oranges, reds, and yellows—contrasts boldly with the azure background. This juxtaposition creates a captivating balance between dynamism and serenity. Fluid color transitions and textured brushstrokes add a dimension of movement and depth, inviting the viewer to delve into the intensity of the abstraction. This painting captures the essence of the duality between chaos and harmony, appealing to both imagination and emotion. Every element, every hue has been carefully placed, illustrating an exceptional mastery of composition and color.
Presentation
Nadine de Lespinats is a self-taught French painter, bronze medalist from the Academy of Arts Sciences Letters and listed in Akoun.
Her work lies at the intersection of abstraction, symbolism, and semi-figuration. Using oil paints, which she prefers to apply with a palette knife, she creates works of dense and vibrant texture, where color acts as a vehicle for emotion and inner resonance.
With the series Éternelles , the artist takes a new step in her artistic exploration. She incorporates framing devices into the very heart of the work and enriches its surfaces with the use of gold leaf, lace, and pearls. These precious elements establish a subtle dialogue between memory, matter, and light, while preserving the gestural force that constitutes the signature of her pictorial language.
