Description
This captivating painting presents a vibrant bouquet of yellow and orange flowers against a deep blue background. The artist uses a bold palette to create a striking contrast between the vibrancy of the blooms and the serene background. Arranged in a slender, translucent vase, the flowers appear almost illuminated, radiating with a solar intensity. Each brushstroke reveals a controlled spontaneity, lending a dynamic vitality to the composition. The richly textured surface and subtle variations in tone add striking depth and dimension. The bursts of green in the leaves add a final touch of freshness, perfectly balancing the whole. This is a work that invites the viewer to contemplate the ephemeral and luxuriant beauty of nature.
Presentation
Nadine de Lespinats is a self-taught French painter, bronze medalist from the Academy of Arts Sciences Letters and listed in Akoun.
Her work lies at the intersection of abstraction, symbolism, and semi-figuration. Using oil paints, which she prefers to apply with a palette knife, she creates works of dense and vibrant texture, where color acts as a vehicle for emotion and inner resonance.
With the series Éternelles , the artist takes a new step in her artistic exploration. She incorporates framing devices into the very heart of the work and enriches its surfaces with the use of gold leaf, lace, and pearls. These precious elements establish a subtle dialogue between memory, matter, and light, while preserving the gestural force that constitutes the signature of her pictorial language.
