Biography

It was during a painting exhibition organized on the banks of the Seine that I discovered the trompe-l'oeil easel.

The illusion effect it gives on the canvas amazed me and made me really want to discover this technique. I then enrolled in a Parisian workshop specializing in “the Art of Fake". I attended it for several years because it requires from the artist a great mastery of its technical rules and a great finesse of execution which one does not acquire after a year.

When I arrived in Provence and more especially in Camargue, attracted by the diversity of landscapes, light, colors, I moved away a little from this way of painting, without however abandoning it completely.

I now focus more on representing the present moment. Often, during my walks, I come across unusual and very fleeting scenes that I hasten to photograph to reproduce on canvas all the emotions that I felt while observing them. Time flies...but Art remains!
