Biography
Influenced since childhood by nature and horses, my passion has been nurtured by a long career in equestrian practice and teaching. It is expressed daily through modelling and drawing.
I am fascinated by mould making, understanding undercuts, and different materials: the whiteness of gypsum, natural pigments for patinas. The beauty of wax that can be reworked when hot. When the liquid bronze is poured into the mould, it is freed from the cement and sprues, then chiselled to give it a finish that enhances this love of horses.
