Description
This captivating bronze sculpture depicts a peacefully reclining horse, combining grace and strength.
This work, through its precision and expression, invites contemplation and evokes immediate admiration for the sculptor's technical skill. The horse, an ancestral and emblematic figure, is immortalized here in a moment of introspection and peace, lending a timeless and emotive touch to any space.
Presentation
Influenced since childhood by nature and horses, my passion has been nurtured by a long career in equestrian practice and teaching. It is expressed daily through modelling and drawing.
I am fascinated by mould making, understanding undercuts, and different materials: the whiteness of gypsum, natural pigments for patinas. The beauty of wax that can be reworked when hot. When the liquid bronze is poured into the mould, it is freed from the cement and sprues, then chiselled to give it a finish that enhances this love of horses.
