Description
A feline vision imposes itself forcefully. This animal portrait deconstructs the forms to explore a nervous geometry. The fixed, almost hypnotic gaze anchors the composition.
The line is sharp. Broken lines and sharp angles fragment the feline's face. This figurative approach mixes precision and spontaneity.
The palette favors neutral and light tones. Touches of red and yellow punctuate the whole, creating points of visual tension.
The mixed technique brings a tactile richness to the canvas. The work on contrasts emphasizes the architectural structure of the subject.
Created in 2019, this painting plays on the duality between the animal's natural softness and the rigor of geometric forms.
The clean background leaves all the room for the expressiveness of the face. Each segment seems to vibrate under the effect of contained energy.
The whole is stabilized by a subtle balance between organized chaos and technical mastery. The final rendering focuses on the intensity of a moment captured on canvas.
Presentation
My work is based on the hybridization of painting and sculpture. The material, the relief, the textures, and the light give birth to works where the surface becomes volume and where painting asserts a physical presence. I develop compositions where organic forms and industrial structures dialogue in a search for balance between the living and the constructed. Inspired by the complexity of circuits, I transpose their rhythms, connections, and tensions into my works. I conceive a vision where the animal world and technology can coexist. This encounter is the extension of a deeper approach: to give body to an inner force. Through the material, I seek to make visible an energy of will and determination. Each work is entirely made by hand. The superposition of materials and the work of relief reinforce this presence, until they make the painting an object that transcends its surface. I am not just looking to represent a subject. I am looking to create a presence. A work capable of capturing the gaze, establishing a silent dialogue with the one who contemplates it, and giving body to a force that, for the time of a encounter, no longer belongs only to me.
