Biography
Odile Raoul paints landscapes in acrylic, often from her travels, which have inspired her, as well as portraits of famous artists who have marked her.
She works from photographs, which she takes on site during her journeys for the landscapes, or which she gathers from the press for the portraits. Then she allows memory to act on her memories. Thus, reality is reconstructed and stylized.
Odile creates a lost paradise that invites contemplation of the beauty of a colorful and sublimated world, far from the vicissitudes of the current era.
