Biography
Pierre Guindou, known as Gamo, 31, made his first tags at 14. He is part of the PM crew. He spent several years in the field in order to acquire a certain technical mastery of sketching on the wall. At 24, he met the artists Difuz and Onirik with whom he created an association in Aix-en-Provence called "Project 21". The goal was to create a group dynamic to paint and travel. Shortly after, they left the graffiti scene in Aix, closed the association and settled in Marseille. In 2012, at the same time, Gamo set up his OZ gallery in which he promoted young artists. Active in the street, he uses aerosol to achieve his works which are generally colorful, filled with creatures and animals that always seem to be full of stories ... He claims a graphic style. In the illustration as in the graffiti, he can be recognized in the work of JAW (PM-DMV), of BOM K (DMV), of Number 6 (precursor in France in the deformation and loss of standardized proportions of the character in the graffiti).
