Painter since 1993, Pechane started with acrylic and then discovered the sumi-e technique in 2002.
Pechane is passionate about Japanese culture and lifestyle and is a martial arts practitioner. The sumi-e technique came to her natually, as it is part of the zen culture. It is a simple and clean technique. With European influences, Pechane appropriated this rigorous technique.
