Born in Saint-Amand in 1972, Fabien Chevrier currently lives and works in Rouen.
After a quick passage by the School of Fine Arts of Bordeaux, Fabien Chevrier finally turned towards studies in literature. During the 90s he finally opted for the practice of painting.
But his interest in literature and writing did not abandon him, besides his artistic practice he wrote a newspaper everyday, that he saw as a continuation of his art. Fabien Chevrier likes combining his paintings with striking, spiritual experiences.
Fabien Chevrier is part of a group of Neo-expressionists, a group of French painters that express their pain through their artwork, far from just an aesthetic search, this group creates incisive painting.
