Of Greek origin, Véronique Denis-Kavlakas was born in 1965 in Lens in the Pas-de-Calais town of Hauts de France, where the Louvre-lens is located ...
From the age of 4, she developed a passion for drawing, color mixtures, the smell of pencils and markers… these were right to tint her overflowing imagination…!
As a teenager, she enrolled in the School of Fine Arts in Aix-en-Provence to study her passion. Fate will not knock on her door yet… while sketching here and there, she decides to launch out into active life and keep her childhood dream!
Over the years, the artist who slept in her revealed herself until June 2015, when her faith and her passion for art make her today an accomplished iconographer and a contemporary artist ... ! A hard worker, she tirelessly studies the principles and technique of this divine art in order to get as close as possible to the very essence of her message!
Nothing in what it delivers is left to chance ... everything has a sense of great depth! Whether one is a believer or not, one cannot help but be touched by the desire for the truth of one's work. Her whole soul is laid bare in these sacred figures… not only because they represent history, but also as a space of resilience…!
