Loraine Motti

From illustration to mural painting, Loraine's graphic universe first took shape in a nomadic context during long residencies in South America.

After her beginnings on wastelands in the Paris region in 2009, her practice of mural painting developed in Chile where she resides from 2014.

Now based in Lyon, her style has crystallized on a surrealist basis, whose recurring theme is that of the landscape, interpreted in a poetic and idealistic way, energized by her choices of shifted colors making most of her works tend towards a dreamlike graphics.

Based on acrylic and aerosol techniques, her fresco work rises to monumental heights as well as to small scale. Thus she works as well with the techniques of painting on canvas, illustration on paper, silk-screening, as the technique of the spray can.
