Christel Delrieu Pétraud is an award-winning French artist whose works have been exhibited widely nationally, as well as in Spain, Italy, Belgium and the United States. His artistic explorations are immersed in the questioning of time, space, matter, the infinitely small and the infinitely large. To illustrate this quest, she created a graphic alphabet based solely on lines.

In her signature series "Shadow colors", she reveals the colors of shadows. They become the main subject, come to the fore, take on matter. The subject and its shadow are mixed, confused, they rub off one on the other by creating relief. As a colourist, she favors intense, frank and saturated colors.
