Biography
Photographer Sylvain Schneider is a man who discerns, lives and captures. In this he is an Artist. Refined, he respects time, considers, looks and finally acts ... He doesn't offer any compromise, his photographs are often determining, genuinely felt, never banal.
Finally, it expresses itself in delicate poetry; and there our body and our mind are together to “go through" his work.
"... The act, the photographic gesture, the realization or the taking of photographs are by the technique intrinsic to the time ... Barely passed, time is inscribed in the memory, the words, the images become memories ... It is from these latent images that I construct, de-construct and then patiently assemble my images before they come to life on a silver film then on a print ... "
