After I graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Trier, I first got employed as a Fashion Designer and then in a leading position in an established company. But during this time, I realized that I can´t fulfill my true purpose by following my inner impulses to create my own version of happiness. I felt that something needed to be changed in my life on my journey to satisfaction. From my point of view today all these years of experience have contributed to the refinement of my style, to create that joyful and colorful Artworks. The influences that the fashion industry has had on me can also be recognized in my paintings, the rhythm of arrangements & flying shapes are themes I also love to discuss on my canvas. During the pandemic time I devoted more time to paint. In September 2020 I finally made the decision to sell my art. Since selling my paintings my collectors continue to grow. My Artworks are distributed in several private collections as well as public buildings and offices in Germany, the UK, Canada, USA & China. I enjoy creating my paintings in my Bielefeld based studio.

My alternative universe uses repetitive shapes playing with abstraction and a naive kind of representation. The shapes arise during the painting process and at the end sculpt it ́s own story of the beauty of vibrant colors. A story without words, told by a hidden language of soul, my soul. I create what I love. Abstract, bright, joyful and colorful. I'm obsessed with how color and light have a positive effect on our mood. It´s my personal aim to convey joy. My landscape series are about my visions of dreamy & colorful scenes I want to step inside and dance under the rainbow. The turquoise blue shimmering sea as well as colorful fields of fragrant flowers and plants in the mountains are also significant subjects for my paintings. Being creative has always been an important part of my life. At the age of 8 I began to draw portraits with pencil and at 15 I almost painted abstract landscapes with acrylics on self-made canvases. Even today, my paintings are increasingly reminiscent of landscapes. Sometimes, my own rejected former artworks allow them to serve as backgrounds for a new start. This is also part of my process not to give up if something doesn´t work immediately. They'll be covered over or cutted. Layer by layer, I insert yet another story onto the painting.
