Old school graffiti pioneer blending stencil, spray, and social consciousness.
Biography
Rizek (born 1975, Puglia, Italy) is one of the pioneers of the Southern Italian graffiti scene. Raised between skateboarding and writing, he became a key reference point for contemporary urban culture in Italy. After a period devoted to electronic music as a DJ and producer, he returned to urban painting, developing an ironic and provocative style that blends murals, calligraphy, and stencil techniques.
Balancing pop aesthetics with civic engagement, his works address themes such as environmental awareness, human rights, and freedom of expression, transforming public space into a platform for dialogue and reflection. Active both in Italy and internationally, Rizek continues to use the street as a powerful tool for visual activism and social change.
