Angelo Luccia

Angelo LUCCIA was born in Florence in August 1952 by the Arno, not far from the current opera house, his career remains a mystery. In his spare work, one can find a marked taste for that Florentine severity, the one that strikes when passing in front of the Uffizi and almost catching the gaze of Lorenzo il magnifico by chance. He speaks little of his work and if he does, he asks you to listen to the lamentations of the prophet Jeremiah: "Jerusalem convertere ad dominum Deum tuum", the vertigo of the harmonics of the assassin prince Gesualdo, the amorous letter of the seventh book of Claudio Monteverdi's madrigals, or even the quartets of Arnold Schoenberg or Bela Bartok.
