Laura Ruggiero art photography captures the moment a vision connect to our sensitivity. Light, darkness, the history of places are framed by Laura in a soft stillness that we want to keep forever and let flow. With natural authenticity, one can see in Laura Ruggiero's photographs a backward connection to the errant concept of "time", "space" and "void". An all-round investigation reinterpreted in a critical key and aimed at framing those phenomenological aspects, both natural and historical, which trace the trail of an unstoppable inner decadence: the photograph of a social, urban, architectural or cultural change leads us to think about the changing of individuals. Conceptually revisit those places, the artist's intent is to create a scenarios of a time lived through a frantic chase. Through elements of conceptuality, Laura gives the photographs dialogue with the viewer.
Born Italian in 1988, she graduated from the University of Urbino "Carlo Bo" (Marche) in "Fashion Design and Visual Arts". During her university years, significant for educational and personal growth, she gradually began to cross the line between photography and its relationship with reality, using the camera as a toll of witness and change. The Italian history with art, fashion and design is for Laura only the starting stylistic point to develop her investigation, central to her practice, about the articulated relationships between the human condition and its social contexts.
