Gerdine Duijens

Gerdine was born in Utrecht (1951), studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Utrecht and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium. Fat ladies, crazy situations. With a great sense of humor, color and movement, Gerdien Duijsens paints very recognizable and cheerful everyday scenes. With a few black lines and refined details, she brings to life her characters who were waiting under the paint. Sociability, a snack, a drink, in Gerdien's world it's a happy group.
