Biography

Anton Heyboer is one of the most famous post-war artists in the Netherlands. His works have been purchased by internationally renowned museums in Europe and America, such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Haags Gemeentemuseum, Amsterdams Stedelijk, Tate Gallery in London, and many other museums around the world. The war and experiences that Anton Heyboer has gained in the labor camp have been of great significance for the development of his artistry.
