Bronze Sculpture for Sale
Wadei Khaled is a Palestinian artist whose work is closely connected to the Palestinian landscape, with a particular focus on light, colour, and the natural environment. Working mainly with oil and watercolour, he combines careful observation with a bright and expressive use of colour. Influenced by Impressionism and its approach to light and atmosphere, Khaled has developed his own way of painting the landscapes he knows and encounters around him.
Born in 1986 in Al-Arroub Refugee Camp, Palestine, Khaled developed an interest in drawing and painting from an early age and held his first exhibition in the camp at the age of 13. He later studied Graphic Design and Multimedia at Palestine Polytechnic University before completing a degree in Fine Arts at Al-Quds University. His experience of growing up in a refugee camp and his close connection to the Palestinian landscape are reflected in his paintings, where olive trees, hills, fields, and buildings often appear. Through these familiar scenes, Khaled explores the connection between people, land, and memory. He currently lives and works in Ramallah, where he continues to develop his practice from his studio.
