Biography
Self-taught artist, influenced by "color field painting" and informalism (material painting, abstraction), with a pictorial style that always seeks innovation and uses a wide range of types of paints (enamel, tempera, acrylic, spray, etc.) and occasionally extra-pictorial materials such as varnishes.
The objective of my art is to always achieve works with a high level of plastic beauty, originality and harmony, trying to use new techniques where color and texture play a fundamental role.
My main source of inspiration is Nature and its landscapes.
I have participated in more than ten group art exhibitions in Barcelona, in six national painting competitions and in two artist fairs in different Spanish cities.
I have recently been selected for the XXII International Exhibition-Virtual Museum MundoArti Summer 2024.
I have received several mentions in Revistart, a page has been dedicated to me in the Gal-Art 2017-18 Annual Dictionary of Artists and an evaluation by an art critic in my first group exhibition at the Esart gallery in Barcelona.
I have obtained the following awards/recognitions: Diploma of artistic merit from the Esart gallery in Barcelona. Diploma of merit from the Italian Accademia Internazionale Greci-Marino. Galleries and institutions with which I have collaborated: Esart Gallery (Barcelona) BCM Art Gallery (Barcelona) Abartium Gallery (Barcelona province) Flecha Gallery (Madrid) Claret Foundation (Barcelona) Foment Hortenc (Barcelona) Montesquiu Castle of the Barcelona Provincial Council.
