Description
This artwork portrays an abstract landscape with a rich tapestry of textures and colors, evocative of a serene natural scene. The predominant hues are earthy greens and browns, interspersed with vibrant splashes of yellow and mysterious depths of blue, suggesting the interplay of sunlight filtering through a dense forest canopy. The thick, expressive brushstrokes create a sense of movement and vitality, capturing an ephemeral moment in nature. The textural complexity invites viewers to explore the layered intricacies up close, providing a sense of immersion within the scene. This piece deftly balances abstraction and representation, urging onlookers to invoke their imagination and feel the energy of the natural world. Its unique ability to evoke serenity and introspection marks it as a captivating homage to the unseen beauty of the outdoors.
Presentation
Enric Correa is a self-taught artist whose work explores the relationship between color, matter, and emotional territory. His artistic language lies between atmospheric abstraction and a poetics of layers, where texture and light construct landscapes that evoke memory, geology, and transformation. Through constant research, he combines acrylics, enamels, sprays, and textural materials to create deep and vibrant surfaces that reinterpret Nature from an intimate and sensory perspective.
In recent years, he has expanded his practice to include expressive figuration—especially birds—which extends his abstract universe into new forms of energy and presence. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Barcelona, as well as national art fairs and competitions, and his work has been recognized by the Esart Gallery (Barcelona), the Accademia Internazionale Greci-Marino (Italy), and various international platforms. He has also been featured in specialized publications such as Revistart.
