Biography
Painter and engraver, she was born in Manresa (Barcelona) in 1949. She lives and works in Barcelona. She graduated in 1973 in “Fine Arts” and in 1983 in “History of Art” at the University of Barcelona, where she doctorated in “Fine Arts” in 1985. Rosa Vives is now professor in the department of Painting and Printmaking in the University of Barcelona.
