Description

This small study depicts a sunset over water, painted at the artist's summer house in Zatoka. The body of water into which the sun descends is not the sea, but the Dniester Estuary (Dnistrovskyi Lyman).

The sun casts its final rays through lilac clouds, forming a luminous path across the water. The palette is deliberately vibrant: yellow-gold, orange, and red tones gradually transition into lilac and violet hues.

Executed in a light, impressionistic study manner, the work conveys warmth and quiet tranquility.
